Your Marketing Handbook
Privacy Policy
Effective October 17, 2026
The short version
- We only collect what you give us, plus the basics every website records.
- We use it to answer you, build your marketing plan, send your quote and, if you asked, send you marketing ideas.
- We don’t sell your information. Ever.
- No tracking or advertising cookies. No ad networks following you around the internet. We only count page visits, anonymously.
- Want your information deleted? Email Hello@yourmarketinghandbook.com and we’ll do it.
Who we are
Your Marketing Handbook (yourmarketinghandbook.com) is a marketing company in Los Angeles, CA. In this policy, “we,” “us” and “our” mean Your Marketing Handbook. “You” means anyone who visits the site.
What we collect
What you give us
When you fill out a form on the site, we collect what you type in. Depending on the form, that can include:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your business name, address, city, state and ZIP code.
- What kind of business you have, how many people work there, and your marketing goals.
- What you’re looking for, how many you need, and the products you picked.
- Your logo or other files you upload.
- Anything else you choose to tell us in a message.
What the site records automatically
- Your IP address and browser type, saved with each form you send. We use them to stop spam and abuse, and to limit how many searches one visitor can run.
- Standard server logs: pages requested, time, IP address and browser.
- Simple visit counts: which pages are viewed and which website sent the visitor there, added up by day. This is done without cookies and without your IP address, and it never identifies you.
- A small note in your own browser (called “local storage”) that remembers whether we already showed you our “Before you go” message and whether you’ve sent us a form, so we don’t keep asking. It stays on your device; you can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
What we don’t collect
- We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing on the site follows you from site to site.
- We don’t take credit card numbers on this site today. When we add card payments, they’ll be handled by a payment processor, and your full card number will never reach our servers.
How we use it
- To answer your questions and requests.
- To build and send your free marketing plan and your quotes, including mockups with your logo.
- To search our suppliers for products you asked about and send you options.
- To send the marketing ideas and updates you signed up for.
- To follow up on a quote or plan you requested.
- To keep the site safe, stop spam and fix problems.
- To follow the law.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with companies that help us run the site and serve you, and only what they need to do that job. They’re required to keep it confidential and may not use it for their own purposes.
- Technology providers: companies that host the website, store the information you send us, deliver our email, and provide the software tools we use to prepare your marketing plan and quotes.
- Our product suppliers: when you search for a product, we look it up in our suppliers’ catalogs using only the words you typed, never your name or email. Some product photos load from our suppliers’ image servers.
- Payment processing: when we add card payments, a payment processor will handle your card, and your full card number will never reach our servers.
- The companies that make your order: if you place an order, we share what’s needed to make and ship it (your logo, the products and the shipping address) with the supplier and the shipping company.
- The law: if we’re required to by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
- A sale of the business: if Your Marketing Handbook is ever sold or merged, your information would go with it, under this same policy.
Email from us
We only email you about things you asked for: your plan, your quote, your order, or the ideas you signed up for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we’ll stop as soon as you use it. You’ll still get emails about an order or quote you’re working on with us.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you’re a customer or subscriber, and for as long as we need it for the reasons above, including keeping business and tax records. Ask us to delete it, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How we protect it
The site uses encryption (HTTPS), our database is password-protected, and only our staff can see what you send us, through a staff login. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to:
- Show you the personal information we have about you.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Stop sending you marketing email.
Email Hello@yourmarketinghandbook.com. We may need to confirm it’s really you before we act. We won’t treat you differently for asking.
California residents
California law gives you the rights above: to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to see it, to correct it and to delete it. We do not sell or share your personal information as California law defines those words, so there is nothing to opt out of. To use these rights, email us at the address above.
Children
This site is for business owners. It isn’t meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as Amazon. Their privacy policies apply there, not ours.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are important, we’ll let you know by email or on the site.
