Your Marketing Handbook
Terms of Use
Effective October 17, 2026
The short version
- The ideas, the book and your marketing plan are advice. Good advice, but we can’t promise results.
- Prices on the site are estimates. Your written quote is the real price, and it’s good for 30 days.
- Nothing gets made until you approve a proof.
- Only send us logos and artwork you have the right to use.
- Questions? Email Hello@yourmarketinghandbook.com.
Who we are and what these terms cover
These terms cover your use of yourmarketinghandbook.com, including the free book, the marketing ideas, free marketing plans, product searches, quotes and orders. The site is run by Your Marketing Handbook in Los Angeles, CA (“we,” “us”). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Marketing ideas, the book and your plan
Everything on this site, in the book and in your marketing plan is general marketing information and advice. Your plan is prepared with the help of software tools and reviewed by our team before you receive it.
Every business is different, so we can’t promise any particular result: more customers, more sales or more reviews. You decide what’s right for your business, and you’re responsible for how you use the advice. Nothing here is legal, tax or financial advice.
The free book
The free PDF of Marketing Doesn’t Have to Be Expensive is yours to read and use in your business. You’re welcome to share the free PDF with others as long as it’s unchanged and free. You may not sell it, change it, or pass off any part of it as your own. The book, the website and everything on them belong to us and are protected by copyright.
Prices and quotes
- Prices on the site are estimates. They’re there to help you plan, and they can change. Prices shown in product searches are for the product before your logo setup.
- Your written quote is the real price. It lists the products, quantities, setup charges and any other costs. Quotes are good for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
- Shipping and sales tax are added when you order, unless your quote already includes them.
- Mistakes happen. If a price or product on the site is wrong, we’ll tell you before you pay and you can cancel. We’re not required to honor an obvious error.
- Product availability depends on our suppliers. If something is out of stock or discontinued, we’ll suggest the closest match.
Orders, proofs and production
- You approve a proof before anything is made. Please check it carefully: spelling, phone numbers, colors, size and placement. Once you approve it, we make exactly what the proof shows.
- Colors on a screen and colors on a product can differ a little, depending on the material and the printing method.
- Quantities can vary slightly. As is standard with custom products, a run can come in a few pieces over or under the amount ordered. You pay for what we ship.
- Payment. When card payments are added to the site, your card will be authorized when you order and charged when you approve your proof, unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
- Dates. Production and shipping times are estimates. If you need something by a certain date, tell us before you approve the proof and we’ll tell you honestly whether it can be done.
- Returns. Products with your logo are made just for you, so they can’t be returned or refunded once production starts. If something arrives damaged, defective or different from the approved proof, contact us within 10 days of delivery and we’ll make it right with a reprint, replacement or refund.
- Canceling. You can cancel without charge any time before you approve your proof.
Your logos and artwork
When you send us a logo, photo or artwork, you’re telling us you own it or have permission to use it. You keep ownership of it. You allow us to use it to make your mockups, proofs and products. We won’t use it for anything else without asking. If someone claims you didn’t have the right to use something you sent us, you agree to take responsibility for that claim.
We can refuse any order we believe is illegal, hateful, infringes someone else’s rights, or that our suppliers won’t produce.
Gift codes and referrals
- Your gift code gives you 15% off your first order of advertising merchandise with us. It’s one code per person, and the 15% is for your first order only.
- Share it with friends. A friend who uses your code gets 10% off their first order. You get a credit of 5% of what they spent, toward a future order. There’s no limit on how many friends can use it.
- The fine print. Discounts and credit apply to the product price, not shipping, setup charges or sales tax. Codes can’t be combined with other discounts, and credit can’t be exchanged for cash. We may end or change the program at any time; credit you’ve already earned stays yours for at least a year.
Using the site
Please don’t misuse the site: no spamming our forms, no automated scraping, no trying to break in or overload it, and no pretending to be someone else. We may block anyone who does.
Links to other sites
Some pages link to other websites, such as Amazon. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for them.
Disclaimer and limit of liability
The site, the book and the ideas are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we don’t make any promises beyond what’s written in these terms or in your quote. Our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we’re not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Some states don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
California law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California, unless the law requires otherwise. Before going to court, we both agree to try to work it out by talking first: email us and we’ll respond.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Orders already approved follow the terms in place when you approved them.
